What is HIFU Body Treatments?

HIFU is a permanent fat loss treatment. Using heat, it destroys the fat cells in a specific target area like the stomach or the thighs. Not only does it destroy fat, but it also boosts collagen growth which makes the skin tighter and firmer.

This medical-grade device delivers ultrasound energy at precise depths of the tissue. This creates heat which stimulates the breakdown of fatty tissue and promotes tissue remodelling in the body, helping to lift and tighten loose skin.

Cellulite Reduction

High-intensity focused ultrasound can also speed up the body’s metabolism as well as shrink skin fibres, allowing this treatment to tighten and lift the skin as well as destroying the pockets of fat that are the cause of cellulite.

  • Clinically Proven, Safe and Effective
  • Cost Effective Alternative to a Surgical Face Lift
  • No Need for Anaesthesia or Sedation
  • No Incisions or Risk of Infection
  • No Downtime
  • Lasting Results can be seen after one treatment

How Does HIFU Body Contouring Work?

HIFU works through a multi-step process that activates the body’s natural regenerative mechanisms:

HIFU is a precisely controlled, macro-focused circular ultrasound that permanently eliminates fat and visibly tightens skin, with no pain or downtime to safely and effectively target concern areas.

Ultrasound targets the fat cells using deep dermal micro-heating the area to 60-70° to permanently eliminate fat cells for good. The high-frequency ultrasound waves also result in heating under the skin to tighten and lift as well as reduce stubborn fat pockets.

While the treatment is heating and destroying fat cells, the skin remains protected and comfortable throughout the session.

Key Considerations

  • Results: Results are gradual, with optimal improvements appearing 3 to 6 months after treatment with long-lasting effects for up to 18 months.
  • Maintenance: Maintenance sessions may be required, typically 1 – 2 treatments per year.

Body Contouring Post Care

This treatment targets only stubborn subcutaneous fat, but not visceral fat. Visceral fat is the deep dangerous fat around the organs that can only be influenced through diet, lifestyle such as sleep, stress and exercise. It is therefore important to keep a close eye on your visceral fat levels through the course of the treatments eat a healthy, balanced diet, keep active, drink water, sleep and manage stress levels.

If your lifestyle changes in a negative way, your visceral fat cells can expand and you may put on weight all over the body which can greatly impact on the success of your treatments. Non-surgical fat reduction treatments work to destroy stubborn subcutaneous fat cells, so if you are expanding your visceral fat cells as a result of living an unhealthy lifestyle, you will compromise the results of your treatment and health.

  • Stay Hydrated

All of our treatments are non-invasive which means that no needles or cutting is involved to remove the fat from the body – instead, the fat removal happens through your body’s natural waste disposal processes via the liver and lymphatic system.

Hydration plays a critical role in how your body manages these processes, and in particular, water helps to facilitate the removal of dead toxins, which is why staying hydrated after your treatment is so important.

  • Maintain Your Muscle Mass

Our treatments will only work to target the stubborn subcutaneous fat so it is crucial that muscle mass is maintained otherwise we could see a loss in volume resulting in more evident cellulite. Your Body Contouring Specialist will keep a close eye on your skeletal muscle mass during your cellulite reduction program to ensure muscle mass is maintained at home.

  • At-Home Product Care

Give Your Body Time: Immediately after the treatment, you may notice that your skin is firmer and its texture is lifted, however the full effect of the treatment generally takes around 12-weeks to kick in. In most cases, more than one treatment is needed to achieve the desired results – and maintenance sessions may also be required in the future. Some clients see results a lot quicker than others; however, this will vary person to person. Non-Surgical Body Contouring is a process and we are with you the whole way.

A Slimming Down Combo  can be combined for an at home maintenance treatment plan.
